Zeus is the king of gods who lives on Mount Olympus. He is known as the god of sky, weather, law, order, and fate. As god of the sky he is responsible for droughts, storms, and rain. He was seen as a great man, sturdy figure and dark beard. His usual weapon was a lightning bolt, royal and leading.

Zeus was the youngest son of the Titans, Cronus and Rhea. Cronus who is Zeus’ dad is known as the god of heaven and god of time. Rhea who is Zeus’ mother is a titan who is known as the goddess of female infertility, motherhood, and generation Zeus came up with a potion with Metis to make Cronus throw up his siblings. He and his siblings overthrew their father. To decide who would be in charge the three brothers entered a lottery. His mother, Rhea, immediately after his birth concealed him from Cronus as a blanket wrapped around a rock. Cronus was fated to be overthrown by one of his children so he ate all his offspring. Zeus was hidden in Crete until he was fully grown and able to battle his father.

Zeus is the undisputed king of the gods, He ruled with a iron fist, he was supreme ruler of Mount Olympus. Zeus is also the source of all climates and weather, temperature, weather, climate, wind, waves and tornadoes.

his kids were Athena, Ares, Hebe, and Hephaestus, but Athena was his overall favorite. She is the goddess of strategy and wisdom. Ares is the god of war, Hebe is the goddess of youth, and Hephaestus is the god of technology. Also they all live on Mount Olympus.
Zeus has many names such as these … Zeus of the Aegis, Zeus the cloud gatherer, Zeus of the wide brows, father Zeus, son of Cronus, lord of Hera, Lord of the thunderbolt and many many more. But his care taker gave him a few of these names.
the Cyclopes made the thunderbolt because, Zeus saved the Cyclopes from Cronus. The thunderbolt also symbolizes power, and that also is why he is the king of the gods. But the main reason he has it is because, he could defeat Cronus and free the Cyclopes.
Athena is one of his many children, although Zeus’ favorite child is Athena who is the goddess of wisdom and goddess of war. She was Zeus’ favorite child because she is always the best at finding the best battle strategy.
Hera is one of Zeus’ 6 Wives. But Hera was known for being able to tell prophecies and she was the wisest of all mortals and gods. What happened was she was eaten and that’s when Athena was given birth to by Zeus. Zeus was married when Metis caught his eye and she took many forms to evade him but eventually she gave up and married him.
Zeus created a woman known only as Pandora, and had a box or a jar. Pandora is a woman made for the titan Promethius’ brother and his brother married her. she was created for Promethius’ brother as a gift from Zeus, and when she open her box or jar to take a peek at what was inside she and Promethius’ brother were stuck inside it.
